WW2 Aluminum Block lighter

As steel production was allocated towards war efforts during WW2, Americans had to get creative in their production of goods. These block lighters were made using recycled aluminum from airplanes. These vintage lighters hold history of American ingenuity as well as resilience to war time. This lighter is a piece of history. This lighters fuel tank cap also holds a tool that can be used to access the flint of the lighter.
